Hello, World

I've been reading Webfiction and Webcomics for the better part of the past twenty years.

I've also been attempting to write a book, or at least a short novelette for these same past twenty years. One of these attempts even made it halfway into chapter 2.

I need shorter breaks, shorter scenes that do not peter out so much like a wildfire in space after all oxygen tanks have been depleted.

This blog here is an attempt at that. Tales from the Darkhold may - or may not - eventually feature short glimpses into the lives of creatures, people or less defined beings in a variety of fictional and/or non-descript universes, but the true purpose of this is Anaya's tale.

Anaya has been a favourite roleplaying character of mine both on the screens of a variety of games as well as on the table, and her tale is one that deserves to be told. It is also a tale of cruelty, love, the cruelty of love and the love of cruelty. And hope. And, of course, the cruelty of hope and the power of hopelessness. And it is a tale I dearly love to tell to a wider audience.

We're moving in December, to a house with a garden and an appropriate gardenhouse. I am looking forward to start writing in there.
